Expansion Into Canada
The Fraternity's next expansion effort took them to Canada. Theta Xi Chapter was founded at the University of Toronto in 1879. At the time, Zeta Psi was the first American fraternity to establish a chapter in Canada and was the only fraternity present in Toronto for 13 years. It has since opened 14 additional collegiate chapters in Canada.
